| Alpha Flight | The Canadian government's superteam, consisting of the founding members of our world's Alpha Flight: Guardian, Shaman, Northstar, Aurora, Puck, Snowbird and Sasquatch. However, in this reality, Canada was at war with the United States, and relations are still strained. AF encountered The Six when they crashed in Canada and helped the Pack break into the old Weapon X facility. Alpha Flight took custody of the Pack and returned them to the Canadian Government. |
| Apocalypse | The immortal mutant shapeshifter is not the despot he aims to be in our reality. Rather, due to the threat of beings like Sinister and Xavier, this High Lord allied himself with Magneto, saving Jean Grey from death years ago, and then with Havok later on. Apocalypse saved Magneto and the X-Men from S.H.I.E.L.D.'s nuclear attack, and then finally contacted Havok, and revealed the nature of the crisis. While Havok had trouble believing that Apocalypse was on the side of right, he eventually realized that Xavier was truly evil and helped defeat his former teacher. In the final battle, however, Apocalypse was struck by Xavier's mindblasts and died. Throughout his life, he did adhere to the familiar "survival of the fittest" refrain, but he wanted it to proceed more naturally than his enemies did. He also led the Four Horsemen, but to what purpose is still unclear. |
| Bastion | A S.H.I.E.L.D project, the Bastion model of hunters are cyborg-telepaths. They are equipped with various weapons system as well as teleportation technology. The Bastions were used by S.H.I.E.L.D to kidnap Gambit's daughter Raven, who it appears is a very powerful mutant. |
![]() Callisto | Also the leader of the underground mutants known as Morlocks, Callisto appears to have the same enhanced physical abilities as her counterpart in our world. However, this Cal was not scarred years ago, and was quite beautiful, which begs the question of why she went underground in the first place. She weathered a similar Massacre, and fell in love with the Mole Man. When the Goblin Queen took over NYC, Cal took in a lot of people that wanted to escape, including Ben Grimm and other surviving heroes. However, she betrayed Havok to Madelyne in exchange for her people's lives. Unfortunately, when Havok was in her sights, the Goblin Queen burned Callisto's face, scarring her forever. |
![]() Cerebro | A humanoid techno-entity created by Forge for Magneto, Cerebro appears to combine the original Cerebro unit with something resembling a Transmode Virus being like Warlock. Cerebro was in charge of the X-Mansion during the X-Men's absences. He functions as a mutant-locator, a teacher and an information resource, as he is tied into a global network that allows him to monitor events all over the world. Needless to say, he is a technical genius as well. When the X-Men were apparently killed, Cerebro was teleported to The Six, and joined them in their quest to protect mutants from hate crimes. |
| Defenders | In the wake of the Goblin Queen's takeover of NYC, Stingray and Yellowjacket, the two surviving Avengers, called in Doc Samson, now imbued with the power of the Hulk, and assisted Havok in thwarting the evil Queen's plan to control the Nexus of all Realities. In that battle, they joined with Dr. Strange, and afterwards, they decided to remain together. |
![]() Dr. Doom | President of the United States of Latveria, this Dr. Doom is as brilliant as his counterpart in our world, and possesses similar armor, but has a completely different personality. A powerful but benevolent ruler, Doom is lauded the world over. When the Goblin Queen took control of the United States, the U.N. clamored for Doom to lead the Allied forces against her. Doom has some past history with Namor and called in his marker to enlist Namor's aid in defeating the Goblin Queen's Sentinels. After the battle was won, Doom returned to govern Latveria. |
![]() Dr. Strange | Master of the Mystic Arts and Sorcerer Supreme, as in our dimension. However, this Stephen Strange was involved in some incident that has the world on alert for all things supernatural, especially J. Jonah Jameson, publisher of the Daily Bugle. In addition, when he helped the sorceress Jennifer Kale free her friend Ted Sallis from the curse of the Man-Thing, a swamp creature and the Guardian of the Nexus of all Realities, Strange himself was transformed into the Man-Thing. He accepted his role as the Guardian, and fought S.H.I.E.L.D when it came to take control of the Nexus for the Goblin Queen. Dr. Strange was aided by Havok, Doc Samson, Stingray and Yellowjacket, and defeated both S.H.I.E.L.D. and the remaining members of the Fantastic Four and The Six. After Havok destroyed the Nexus and went home, Dr. Strange and the remaining heroes decided to band together as the new Defenders. |
![]() Elektra | Scotty Summers's nanny. Elektra Natchios, like her counterpart in our reality, is a first-class ninja. She lost her parents at an early age, and like our Elektra, is known to Bullseye and the Hand. She guards Scotty with her life, and is very protective of him. Elektra went on the road with Havok and Scotty after the execution of The Brute, and has become Alex's trusted companion and advisor. Recently after Xavier's defeat, Elektra took Scotty and Raven to the X-Men's base on the Moon. |
![]() Fantastic Four | Like our world's Fantastic Four, the Mutant X FF is one of the world's premier superteams, and comprises Reed Richards, Susan Storm Richards, Johnny Storm, and Benjamin J. Grimm. However, unlike our FF, this team was never bombarded by cosmic rays, don't really use code-names, and in fact, none of them have super-powers. All of their abilities are mechanically derived: Reed has four robotic arms that attach to a torso ring, Sue has a stealth armor, Johnny has a flame producing armor with jet-packs, and Ben has a giant exo-skeleton with tremendous strength. Reed does not appear to be quite as smart as his counterpart in our world, and also has never discovered the existence of other dimensions. Sue and Havok, once had an affiar, which led to strained relations between the teams. When the Goblin Queen appeared, she convinced Reed to betray his team, and put the others under her control. Only Ben resisted, and he was blasted out of the top floor of FF HQ. He ended up working with the Morlocks and the Mole Man to get people out of NYC. The remaining three now work for Madelyne, and with President Kelly's resignation, Reed was hand-picked to be the next President of the U.S. He continued to work for the Goblin Queen, and got as far as creating a dimensional gate so that she could transport demon souls into her Sentinels. However, before her defeat, Reed disappeared, as did the rest of the FF. None of their whereabouts is currently known. |
![]() Forge | Born with the same technology-creation powers as our Forge, this version also loves his Ororo. Before meeting her, however, he was a weapons designer for the government, a Judas to his own kind. Then he was captured by vampires, his bionic leg removed and he was left to be the newly-turned Ororo's first meal. Luckily for him, she refused to drain him and tried to escape with him until they were attacked by Kitty Pryde. Forge is so devoted to Ororo that he allows her to feed off of his blood, so that she won't have to kill to survive. As a result, he is linked to Bloodstorm, and can feel her presence when she's near. He is cared for by Kitty Pryde, who was enthralled by Bloodstorm's bite and escaped with her from their castle home when the Goblin Queen attacked. His current whereabounts are unknown. |
| Jean Grey | A founding member of the X-Men, and Havok's original love, Jean was thought to have died years ago. In reality, she was saved by Apocalypse and Magneto, and hidden from Professor X who was capturing all the telepaths in the world for his evil plans. Like our Jean, this version also has mastery over telepathy and telekinesis. Somehow, though, she was seen with Sinister a known ally of Xavier's, before she met up with The Six and helped them escape from S.H.I.E.L.D.. This throws her true loyalties into some doubt. However, she did help Magneto and Apocalypse convince Havok to oppose Xavier, which essentially turned the tide of the conflict. Her current whereabouts are unknown. |
![]() Man- Spider | Peter Parker, who in this reality received all of the powers of the radioactive spider that bit him, including sticking to walls, enhanced strength and agility, and a danger-sense, but also grew another four arms! It is unknown whether Man-Spider's webbing is naturally or technologically generated. Like our Spider-Man, Man-Spider has had trouble with clones in the past, which he finds somewhat embarrassing. However, it was a clone who was killed by the Goblin Queen, and for whose murder she framed the Brute, so Man-Spider (a friend of The Six) was actually able to testify on his friend's behalf at his trial. |
![]() Mole Man | Callisto's paramour, and leader of the subterranean peoples. Like his counterpart in our reality, the Mole Man has control over Earth's monsters, and seems to also control the ground itself. Unlike our Mole Man, he has experienced love and is not out for conquest, but lives in peace under the world. He is even helping people escape from NYC. However, he has vowed vengeance on the Goblin Queen for scarring Callisto. |
![]() Namor | Prince of Atlantis, a hybrid mutant born of both the surface world and the ocean, and truly at home in neither. Namor made his appearance in the Mutant X Universe during the battle with the Goblin Queen's Sentinels when his sea beasts destroyed the robots, allowing the Allied ships to enter New York Harbor. He called his debt to Doom fulfilled and warned that the next time the surface world saw him, it would be as an enemy. He is very angry at the surface-dwellers, and with his powers of super-strength and flight, and his command of the Atlantean Army, his threats are considered carefully. |
![]() The Pack | Comprising the versions of Wolverine, Sabretooth, and Wildchild. These three mutants were experimented on as part of Canada's Super-Soldier program. They were supposed to be Canada's new secret weapon in its war against the United States, but something went wrong, and the three mutants escaped with much bloodshed. The project was abandoned and sealed off. Unfortunately, the experiments had damaged the three escapees, now called the Pack, leaving them nearly mindless and living solely on instinct, like animals. Wolverine has the adamantium bones and claws, and Sabretooth's healing factor may be diminished or non-existent, given that he has lost an eye. The Six encountered the Pack when they crashed in Canada's wilderness. Brute almost joined the Pack, responding on a purely instinctual level to their feral nature, but ultimately was able to resist. The Pack led the Six to the Weapon X site, where they discovered the truth about the three feral mutants' past. Eventually the Pack were returned to the custody of the Canadian Government by Alpha Flight. |
| Professor X | Years ago, this version of our Professor X was a good man, who with his friend Magnus believed in harmony between man and mutant. Together they formed the X-Men and led the team towards that peaceful goal. However, the day they fought the Shadow King, everything changed. The good in Xavier was corrupted, and he left the team to explore his powers further. When he returned, it was during an attack by the Juggernaut. Xavier fired a blast at Juggernaut, but it missed and killed Magneto's lover Moira MacTaggert, instead. Xavier left the X-Men for good then, and traveled the world seeking out telepaths, whom he captured and incarcerated around the globe. He joined forces with Sinister in a bid to transfer all the mental energy of all the world's telepaths into himself. To that end, they created the X-Man, and Xavier took control of S.H.I.E.L.D., captured Gambit's adopted daughter Raven, and had Fury attempt to kill the X-Men with a nuclear strike. Xavier met up with The Six in New York, "fleeing" from Apocalypse and the Four Horsemen. However, when Xavier made several attempts to abduct Scotty, and he was alreted to the truth by Jean Grey and Magneto, Havok realized who the true villain was. After a pitched battle, Xavier donned his psychic armor, and he and Sinister released a giant replica of Galactus in order to induce fear in the citizens of Earth, on which Xavier could feed his power. In the end, the replica was destroyed and the Six beat the fear phantom that had comprised it. Xavier turned on Sinister and destroyed him, and X-Man ran off, leaving Scotty and Raven, who with X-Man were to be Xavier's psychic batteries, to help Havok blast away at Xavier. Xavier was knocked out of his armor and fled the scene, but not before unleashing a blast at Havok that hit Brute when he jumped in front of it to save Alex. Fourtunately, the blast seems to have restored Hank to his former levels of intelligence. Xavier's whereabouts are unknown. |
![]() Katherine Pryde (Black Queen II) | Once a member of the X-Men, the counterpart to Shadowcat has similar powers and ninja training. She was in love with Colossus, but left the X-Men to kill her teammate Ororo, who had been bitten by Dracula. Unfortunately, Kitty heistated at the last instant, and Storm was able to hypnotize and bite her. Kitty became a thrall of Bloodstorm, and served her mistress well, although somewhat reluctantly. She was NOT turned into a vampire. She took care of the men Ororo fed from, one of whom is Forge. When the Goblin Queen came for Ororo, Kitty (and Forge) fled their castle under their mistress's orders. After leaving Bloodstorm's sanctuary, Kitty and Forge met up with other mutant suvivors of the Goblin Queen's assaults. Kitty, now free of Ororo's thrall, began to use her full name and assumed the mantle of the Black Queen of the Hellfire Club, in an effort to save as many mutant lives as possible. Her demeanor has changed, and she is much more aggressive and cold. She may also have begun a relationship with Sebastian Shaw, the Black King, but that is still uncertain. |
![]() Scotty Summmers | The only son of this reality's version of Alex Summmers and Madelyne Pryor-Summers, Scotty was named for his supposedly long-dead uncle Scott (who survived to become Cyclops in our world). He has some unique abilities, probably best qualified as psychometry and precognition. He probably has other abilities like telepathy and telekinesis, but these haven't been fully developed yet. When he was an infant, Scotty was kidnapped by demons, and only his mother's sacrifice enabled his release. Since our Havok's soul merged with the Mutant X Havok, Scotty has become much closer to his "father," and now loves him very much. Alex took Scotty with him on the road to protect him from his demonic mother. In the final battle, Scotty entered the Goblin Queen's mind with Alex and together they destroyed the evil entity. |
![]() Sentinels | Yet another version of the giant mutant-hunting robots. They are similar to our Sentinels in most ways, but seem a little more human, possibly because they are linked to their creator Larry Trask. Trask gave up his humanity to physically interface with the central control mechanism, becoming the Master Mold in a way similar to what happened to Steven Lang in our reality. They are, as always, every mutant's nightmare, and are housed in a mountain in the Rockies. Recently, the Goblin Queen took control of Trask and the Sentinels, and used them to put New York City under her rule. Then, she imbued the robots with demon souls and sent them to destroy the Allied forces that attacked her. However, most, if not all of the Sentinels were destroyed by Namor and the aquatic beasts he brought to the fight. |
![]() Nick Fury & S.H.I.E.L.D.
|
Save Humanity by Intervention in the Evolution of Life-Form Deviants. | Still led by Nick Fury, and employing the feared Mandroid armor, this S.H.I.E.L.D. once worked for the government, but was cut off for some reason. It then became an anti-mutant terrorist group, which kidnapped Scotty Summers and Elektra and tried to release the Legacy Virus into the atmosphere. They were defeated by The Six, and Fury's mandroid was sunk in the river. Later, however, due to the Goblin Queen's influence, both Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D. were reinstated as government functionaries. Fury was promoted to General, and is carrying out an anti-mutant campaign cleverly disguised as rounding up mutants "for their own protection." This was revealed to be part of Xavier's plans to collect all the telepaths in the world and keep the Six out of his way. |
| Sinister | Although his powers were never seen in action, it is assumed that he had abilities similar to the Sinister of our world (with the exception of the shape-shifting, which we now know was derived from Courier in our world). This Sinister is also a master of genetic manipulation, and most likely created Madelyne Pryor to breed with Havok and produce a powerful child. Years ago, he had Gambit steal two children from a fortified facility, of whom the boy was artificially grown into the X-Man, and the girl was left with Gambit, to be raised as his "daughter" Raven. Sinister originally wanted to kill the girl, but Gambit protested and turned to mist (he had just been changed into a vampire), and Sinister relented. At some point (whether before or after this incident is unknown), Sinister joined forces with Xavier in a plan to control the world. However, in the final battle, Sinister realized that Xavier was going to destroy the conditions he needed for his genetic manipulations of mutants, and he protested, whereupon Xavier blasted him, apparently killing him. |
| The Star- Jammers |
|
| Sunfire | The premier Japanese superhero, Sunfire was among the heroes convened by the Hellfire Club after Goblin Queen's takeover of New York and America. However, when The Six found the group and Forge unveiled his new Mark XIII version of Cerebro, Sunfire turned on his comrades and attacked. He was bound by duty and honor to fulfill the directives his country had given him, namely not to let them live! Fortunately for the mutants, they were able to stop Sunfire, and then the roof caved in, presumably killing him. |
| The X-Men | The premier
mutant team, once the students of Charles Xavier and led by Havok
himself, the X-Men are now led by their erstwhile nemesis, Magneto. Magneto
assumed control of the team when Xavier was taken ill and left for deep
space. This move prompted Havok to form The
Six. When Havok of our universe first got to this reality, the X-Men
were in the Shi'ar Galaxy helping them
and the Kree. They appear to be true heroes,
with no "evil taint" due to their leader's past, as Havok had originally
feared. However, not all of them may be satisfied with his leadership. The
X-Men were thought killed in a tactical nuclear strike blamed on the Friends
of Humanity, but were in reality saved by Apocalypse.
They have since relocated to a base on the moon. The X-Men comprise the
following people:
Former members include all the members of the Six, Colossus (comatose), Kitty Pryde and Ariel (Jean Grey). |
